Attention all residents of Exshaw and Little Kananaskis!
Please consider attending an important information meeting
this Tuesday, September 19 @ 7:00pm
at the Exshaw Community Hall.
- Lafarge Low Carbon Fuels (LCF) Project — the ECA’s representative on the LCF Project Advisory Committee will give an overview of the project. Lafarge plans to submit its permit application to Alberta Environment very shortly.
We need your input to help determine the ECA’s position.
- Jura Creek flood mitigation — a proposal was recently presented by Golder Associates (working on behalf of Alberta Transportation) to the ECA. The intent of the mitigation work is to protect the CP tracks in the event of a flood, and the current proposal will have major impacts on the east end of the recreation grounds (ball diamond & campground).
We need your input on the ECA’s response to Golder/Alberta Transportation.
Due to the facility users who continue to leave their pet waste in the ball diamond & playground, these areas are now off-limits to all pets.
Thank you to all the responsible people who clean up after your pets – unfortunately the bad actors have necessitated this policy.
