Community Hall Rates

Community Hall Rental Rates
Effective July 1, 2014 (subject to change without notice):

– Full rental amount is due at time of booking;
– 
Damage Deposits (twice the rental rate) are due 21 days prior to the event;
– Damage Deposit will be returned after the event if all is satisfactory.

  1. Free Public Events (Craft sale, etc.) – No Charge
  2. Private Commercial Events (full or part day) – $155.00
  3. With Kitchen use – $120.00
  4. MD Bighorn Meetings – $120.00
  5. Community Event (partial day) – $80.00
  6. Community Event (full day) – $155.00
  7. Weddings (48 hrs) no kitchen – $300.00
  8. Weddings (48 hrs) with kitchen – $425.00
  9. Church Services – $36.50
  10. Chair Rentals – $4.00 each
  11. Table Rentals – $6.00 each
  12. Funerals – By Donation

The renter must purchase applicable license/insurance/certification and supply copies three weeks prior to event:
1. ALGC liquor license (Alberta Liquor and Gaming Certification)
2. Party Alcohol Liability (PAL) insurance – $2,000,000
3. Subcontractor’s General Liability insurance – $2,000,000 (e.g., Band, DJ, Caterer)
4. Safe Food Handling Certification due 3 weeks in advance (e.g., Caterer or Chef/Cook)


All renters are expected to clean the facility completely, remove all garbage & recyclables.


Seating Capacity (These are the hall capacities based on fire inspection safety):
1. Maximum 150 people with chairs and no tables (no alcohol)
2. Maximum 120 people with tables and chairs (no alcohol)
3. Maximum 100 people with tables and chairs (with alcohol)
