Welcome to the Exshaw Community Campground, your basecamp in the heart of the valley!
This is a first-come first-served campground includes unserviced and powered sites suitable for tents and RV’s up to 24ft in length. Visitors enjoy direct access to the south Exshaw walking trails and Bow River from the campground. This campground is located near the railway line.
The Exshaw Community Campground is the perfect venue for private events and gatherings. For inquiries please review the availability calendar and contact our rentals coordinator.

Dates listed as “busy” indicate a campground buyout. When the campground is not rented for private functions, individual campsites are available on a first come, first served basis.
Site details
- The sites are compact gravel and are equipped with a picnic bench.
- Potable water is available from the rec grounds, there is no sani dump on site.
- The campground has one communal firepit, firewood is provided.
- Vault toilets and cook shelter are located centrally in the campground.
- Non-powered sites: #’s 1-7
- 15 amp powered sites (pull through): #’s 8-11
- 30 amp powered sites (pull through): #’s 12-16
